In the calculation of tallies using the MCNP Monte Carlo code, the desired results are obtained using tallies. If we want to calculate tally results from different layers of the desired target, two methods can be used. These methods include two different types.
1) Using tallies
2) Using the fs divider card
The structure of the fs card is as follows.
FSn S1 S2 S3 ... T C
n is the desired tally number. This number must be equal to the desired tally number.
S1 to Sn is the level number. The level symbols similar to those used in the cell card can be used.
T indicates whether to print the total output at the end or not?
C If this letter is used, the tally results of each section are shown as the sum of the results of the previous sections.
The FS card is used to divide a cell or a surface into segments.
The SD (segment divider card) is used to supply tally-specific information (volume, area or mass).
